Setting expectations

What's not included.

We don't provide application-level support for line-of-business software - things like your EMR, accounting platform, CRM, or industry-specific tools. We keep the infrastructure that software runs on healthy: the network, the server, the computer, the internet connection. But app-specific configuration, workflow setup, and troubleshooting inside that software is usually the vendor's job, and we'll point you to them when an issue is on their end.

New equipment purchases and major projects - a new server, an office move, a full network buildout - are scoped and quoted separately. They're not bundled into the flat monthly rate that covers day-to-day management and support. See our Managed IT Plans for what is included in flat-rate coverage.

Common questions

Questions about what's covered.

Do you support Mac and Windows?
Yes. We manage both Windows and Mac computers, as well as mixed environments where some staff use one and some use the other.
What about line-of-business software like our EMR or accounting platform?
We support the infrastructure that platform runs on - the network, the workstation, the server, the internet connection - but application-level configuration and workflow issues inside the software itself are typically handled by that vendor's support team.
Do you manage mobile devices?
Yes, where applicable. We use mobile device management (MDM) to enroll, secure, and support company phones and tablets so they're configured correctly and protected like the rest of your environment.
What if we use a system not listed here?
Reach out and tell us what it is. Most business environments include something custom or industry-specific, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's in scope for managed IT or something we'd need to handle separately.
